A.I.M. is a proven incentive plan which helps companies that want to motivate employees to achieve desired results.

Do You Realize The Impact of Motivational Incentives?

Incentives have been used as motivators since the beginning of time. The best example through the ages has been religion. Many generations have been motivated to certain actions that were dictated by religious beliefs. The incentive of going to Heaven is a great motivation. Everyone must remember that there were things you could or should not do according to your religious beliefs.

Through the years we can remember parents motivating children to achieve goals by offering incentives. (Get good grades & you can have a car or go on vacation.) The old donkey and the straw treatment is probably the clearest demonstration of incentive for motivation. To induce the donkey to move, they tied a stalk of straw in front of him and he kept trying to reach it. Another good example is the rabbit that the greyhound keeps trying to catch.

We can all think of incidents where someone has tried to motivate us by offering an incentive. However, we have pointed out just a few to impress the fact that has probably become second nature to most of us.

Industry, through the years, has used incentives to motivate sales by their sales people. Reach a goal and get a trip to wherever the company has arranged for them to go. This has produced positive effects most of the time. However there are some negatives to this incentive. The salesperson may not want to or be able to go when or where the company has planned to go; thus minimizing the effect of a an expensive incentive. The rest of the company resents the incentive being given only to the sales personnel. They rightly feel that it takes all the employees to work together to achieve positive results and not just the sales department. The company also has to arrange and pay for the trip before knowing the results. In spite of some of the negatives most corporations still love the idea of trip incentives to motivate sales.

Lately, more and more groups have decided to use trips to motivate areas other than sales. Newspapers offer contests to readers to get them to buy and win trips. Car rental companies combine with airlines to offer travel bonuses. Banks and Mortgage Brokers offer travel to people using their services. There are many more examples available but we think we have made the point.

What does all this lead up to? There is no question that incentives have a positive effect on motivation and that travel is the greatest incentive. A.I.M. targets every area of a business in offering travel incentives by TRAVEL CHECKS to motivate all employees.

The areas where Incentives can be used for Motivation:

The Ten Advantages of A.I.M.

  1. Securing employees today has become a very difficult task. Management has to be concerned not only with the task of being able to get competent workers to do assigned jobs, but with providing an incentive to encourage and reward their cooperation and loyalty.
  2. Incentive programs should be aimed at all segments of the organization.
  3. You should take "AIM" to accomplish the job. Why? Because it provides the best psychologically motivated incentive through travel.
  4. The expense of the company arises only after the results have been achieved.
  5. The travel check is not immediate income to the employee.
  6. The AIM program motivates people to become goal oriented.
  7. The plan is available to companies of all sizes.
  8. The AIM travel check is the basic unit of value on which the incentive program is based. The rewards are tailored to produce the end result.
  9. AIM will work with Human Resources department or send a representative to create a tailor made program for the company.
  10. The only obligation your company has is to give us an appointment to show what we can do. If the desired results are not achieved there is no cost to your company.

Procedure for Employee's who Earn A.I.M. Travel Checks:

  1. When the employee earns the travel checks they do not have to declare them as income and no taxes are deducted. They only become income when and if they are used.
  2. The travel check is equivalent to cash and can be redeemed for travel at designated travel agencies.
  3. The amount of the travel check is determined by the company and can be accumulated for a two-year period.
  4. If employees want or need a trip that costs more than the travel checks they have accumulated, they can add cash and buy what they want.
  5. Although the checks are made out to the person who earns them, they can be transferred to anyone designated by the recipient.
